Coaching Collaboration with Nikos Lagos & TrainingPro

TrainingPro Pic_edited.jpg

“Life coaching does for your mind, what personal training does for your body”.

I’m very excited to announce my new collaboration with Nikos Lagos and his team at TrainingPro, a sports and manual therapy gym located in Athens, Greece.

Specifically, I will be available for 1:1 coaching sessions, focusing on elements such as limiting beliefs and mindset and how to reframe negative thoughts into positive ones, finding and maintaining motivation, as well as setting and achieving both short and long-term goals.

I’m very excited about this new collaboration and am confident that together with Nikos, his team, and the TrainingPro clients we will achieve amazing results with perseverance, trust, courage, and optimism!

A huge “Thank You” to Nikos Lagos, Founder & Head Coach, for trusting in this initiative and bringing me on board, I look forward to our successful collaboration!

'Ready for Work 2021' by Women on Top

Ready for Work.jpg

On Wednesday, 10th March 2021, I had the honour of participating in the initiative, ‘Ready for Work’, a training and employability skills workshop organised by Women on Top.

Women on Top is an organisation for the professional empowerment of women and equality in the workplace. Using mentoring, lifelong learning, consulting and content creation as tools, the organisation seeks to support working and unemployed women and their environment so that together they can create a more equal future for all.

‘Ready for Work’ is just one of the many initiatives organised by Women on Top, and is enriched with a series of seminars and mentoring for young women that are preparing to re-enter the workplace after taking a break of more than 2 years.

It was the second consecutive year that I was invited to participate in the workshop, which saw 30 young women come together for my presentation about Professional Behaviour & Written Communication; two topics that are very important in the workplace.

It was an absolute pleasure to not only take part in this valuable event, but to meet so many wonderful women; they gave meaning to the word ‘interactive’, they shared personal stories and experiences and we even had a few laughs! I wish them all the best of luck on their future endeavours!

Athens University of Economics & Business
Orientation Weekend

On Saturday, 25th September 2021, I was invited by the Athens University of Economics & Business to conduct a team-building workshop at the Orientation for the new students of the Masters in Services Management programme.

The Orientation weekend, which took place in Mainalo Arkadias, in the Peloponnese, included an introduction to the course, fun team building events, sight-seeing, as well as social dinners and team bonding.

My particular workshop, titled ‘Effective Teamwork: Recipe for Success’, explored the various ‘ingredients’ needed for effective teamwork, as well as ice-breakers, interactive group activities, as well as the sharing of experiences, opinions, as well as hopes and expectations for the future.

It was a fun weekend with incredibly smart and ambitious young men and women, who are dedicated to furthering their education and achieving their goals moving forward. I wish them the best of luck and can’t wait to see what the future holds for each individual!

Athens Marathon. The Authentic with the MDA Finish Liners

MDA Finish Liners.JPG

On Sunday 14th November, 2021, I had the absolute pleasure of accompanying Andreas Hodxa in the 5km road race of the Athens Marathon. The Authentic, with MDA Hellas and the MDA Finish Liners.

MDA Hellas (Muscle Dystrophy Association) is a non-profit organisation for patients with neuromuscular disabilities. Their aim is to improve the quality of life for both the patients and their families, by holistically supporting and providing them with the moral and physical support needed in order to have equal opportunities in every aspect of their lives.

Each year, a team of runners, also known as the Finish Liners, come together to push the wheelchairs of MDA patients throughout the authentic Marathon route - yes, 42km! - as well as the 10km and 5km road races. These runners act as the ‘legs’ of the MDA patients, with the main aim of raising awareness in society; to demonstrate the powerful message that even people with disabilities have the right to run.

Whilst I have been part of the Finish Liners team for approximately 6 years now, unfortunately in 2020 we were unable to run due to COVID-19. This year however was extra special for all of us, in that we were not only able to participate safely but we were able to get together and do what we do best, have an absolute blast while running around downtown Athens!

In the Authentic Marathon route, the Finish Liners accompanied Alexandra Stamatopoulou, paralympic swimmer and Bronze medallist at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic games, as well as Haris Aslanidis, owner of the digital marketing agency, Greek Geeks.
